My father is getting remarried after having been a widower for 30 plus years.  Our mother died when I was 15 and my sister was 11.  Dad worked very hard to give us a nice home and provide for us but we always knew he was lonely. Then in 2017 he met Maria at a retirement community party.  They fell in love and are getting married.  They were getting married in April of this year..but Covid-19… sort of messed that up.   So, they’ve now decided not to wait any longer and are getting married over Thankgiving.

I know my father went without while he was raising my sister and I.  There were plenty of Friday nights he would have liked to go out to meet people and possibly find new love but he didn’t.  He always put my sister and I first.  I would love to give him a very nice honeymoon weekend with Maria.  A weekend away to Las Vegas.  I am trying to raise $1500.00 for two plane tickets and hotel accommodations and a nice dinner.  He’s a very good man and he found a beautiful soul to share the rest of his life with.
